AirXML is a reservations system API used by OTA providers and companies building links to reservations systems on behalf of OTAs and large travel agencies.
The AirXML API was developed 15 years ago to allow AirKiosk Reservations system customers to distribute their flights and fares directly to OTAs and travel agency booking platforms.
The latest initiative launched by IATA, called "NDC," is an attempt to develop a similar API under IATA's authority.
